Hijra School

The first Arabic supplementary school in the North West of England was established in 1988. It started as a small school of 32 pupils and was based at the Didsbury Islamic centre in Manchester. Two years later the school moved to Shawgrove School in West Didsbury. The school continued to expand and in 2000 it was moved to its current premises at the KD Grammar School for boys in Whalley Range.

Every Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm and Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Classes from Nursery to Year 6, Arabic GCSE and Classes for teaching Arabic as a foreign language.
